RICHMOND, VA – Jamaal Lemon, acclaimed beer writer, James Beard Nominated journalist, North American Guild of Beer Writers (NAGBW) Award Winner and International Association of Culinary Professionals Finalist, has joined the Craft x EDU Board of Directors. A Charleston native—currently residing in South Florida. Jamaal became obsessed with beer after completing an internship in The Czech Republic, Belgium, and Germany. Craft x EDU travel grants have been established to support professional development activities in the craft brewing industry that require travel within the continental United States. The program will support eligible travel-related expenses up to a limit of $750 per person per fiscal year. Awards are made based on demonstrated personal and industry impact and will be awarded until the funds for this program have been exhausted. Learn more…
