Craft x EDU Postpones Norfolk, VA Opportunity Fair
RICHMOND, VA – Craft x EDU has postponed the Norfolk, VA Opportunity Fair originally scheduled for April 8, 2020, due to mounting concerns about the global COVID-19 outbreak. The event will be rescheduled on a to-be-determined date in fall 2020.
Craft x EDU made the decision to postpone what would have been its inaugural Opportunity Fair as dozens of colleges and universities move to suspend in-person classes and event organizers cancel or postpone conferences, concerts, and sporting events across the United States. “Flattening the Coronavirus infection curve is everyone’s job and we want to make sure we are doing our part,” said Craft x EDU Executive Director, J Jackson-Beckham. “As an organization that is invested in supporting communities, we are prioritizing the wellbeing of members of the craft brewing community, the educational communities of our partnering organizations, and everyone who may be directly or indirectly affected in our region.”
About Craft x EDU Opportunity Fairs

- Taste of Craft Networking Reception – A networking event where expo attendees age 21+ can sample and learn about craft beer while engaging in roundtable conversations with industry experts.
Craft X EDU Opportunity Fairs are made possible by presenting brewery sponsor, New Belgium Brewing Company. Breweries and members of allied trades that wish to participate are urged to visit www.craftxedu.org to learn more about upcoming events.
